Wake up to a yummy morning with this simple oatmeal, blueberry, and cinnamon baked compote. The combination of hearty oats and baked sachets of compote filling is a home run. The sachets can be baked ahead of time and frozen until needed.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups of oatmeal
Salt
Butter or milk if you want
Blueberry, nutmeg, and cinnamon compote {find that recipe here}
Make the compote, not the rosemary crust
You could also use the cranberry apple compote recipe
DIRECTIONS
Cook the oatmeal to your tastes
Prep or thaw a blueberry (or cranberry) compote
Combine it with the oatmeal
