FREE* Maker Workshops This October

This October, we are trying something new. Mezzacello Urban Farm will be opening the farm and of it’s technology and tools to students grades 4-12 who might be working on a science fair project or an invention convention prototype. Their admission will be free* in October, if they meet certain criteria.

What’s In a Make It Work Workshop?

Three-Four Hours (depending on attendance) that runs from 4:00 - 8:00 at Mezzacello Urban Farm. Inventors and researchers are invited to use the equipment, tools, whiteboards, data labs, and resources at Mezzacello. The one caveat? They must document their effort in a video or powerpoint presentation.

The dates of these workshops will all be on Wednesdays.

The addition of a refundable $25 spot commitment fee. The workshop is free, the fee is non-refundable if the workshop remains unattended.

The innovators are also welcome to serve as research partners or mentors for other innovators. It takes collaboration and vulnerability to brainstorm and invent. It builds leadership and character to connect and help others.
